Description

Origin: Fars Province or vicinity of the city of Shiraz, Iran, possibly woven by Kurdish weavers.

Age: Dated 1377 which converts to 1958.

Design: Small geometric medallion with 8 pointed stars and flowers.

Colors: Magenta, blueish gray, deep indigo, purple, orange, yellow, brown, ivory, black.

Foundation: Cotton warp and double weft.

Pile: Uniform thick wool pile.

Size: 2 feet by 3 feet 8 inches

Knotting: Symmetrical

Condition: Like new condition with no signs of use.
