Antique Persian Kurdish Runner

Origin: Kurdish village of Northwest Iran.

Age: 1900-1920, 125-105 years old.

Design: Allover boteh pattern with floral borders.

Colors: All natural vegetal dyes. Red, pink, indigo, light blue, yellow, green, brown, ivory.

Foundation: Wool warp and single wool weft.

Pile: Low wool pile with areas of foundation exposed.

Size: 3 feet 7 inches by 8 feet 6 inches

Knotting: Symmetrical

Condition: Poor condition and distressed with holes, but a pleasing overall patina with glowing natural colors.
